Bryan has been drawing all his life and in 2015 he made a huge career change and began to work as a full time professional artist. Bryan is also a U.S. Army veteran and former police officer who now gets paid to draw aliens, wrestlers and superheroes.
In 2023 Bryan was nominated by the Ringo Awards for comic book cover artist of the year. His art has been published on titles from Image Comics, 2000AD, Source Point Press, Aftershock Comics, Headlocked Comics, Scout Comics and many others. He has also created licensed t-shirt and clothing designs for various celebrities and companies, as well as working on trading cards for Marvel Comics, The Walking Dead and Ultraman.
Bryan also attends numerous fandom conventions participating in panels and workshops as well as networking. He can usually be found set up in the artists' alley or the convention guest area.
Bryan is offering tutoring to anyone who wants to level up their art game. Artists of all ages and skill levels are welcome. Bryan works in both traditional pen and ink and with digital tablets and software. He offers creative advice in different forms of artist expression. He will focus here on doing things such as portfolio reviews, individual piece critique and review, creating and composing eye catching cover art, comic book illustration, comic book creation, and more.
Bryan will not be teaching how to draw but instead offer tutoring and guidance tailored to your skill level and what you want to achieve.
During the online sessions you will be able to stream and email pictures and files back and forth for real-time advice and feedback. We will research and chat together to find ways to improve your work. Our sessions will/can contain question and answers sessions where you pick Bryan's brain and he supplies information from his many years of working as a professional freelance artist.
Bryan is mostly familiar with the following digital software: Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Fresco, Premier Pro and Illustrator.
Bryan does offer in-person sessions to the north and west metro-Atlanta area (circling from west to north from Hiram, Powder Springs, Austell, Marietta, Roswell). These sessions would include a travel fee.
Bryan has a large body of work that can be found online if you would like to see examples of his work. If you would like to suggest classes or programs that are not currently offered, or have suggestions please reach out so we can talk.
Using this website you can visit the online shop and purchase sessions. You will not schedule at this time; Bryan will contact you after the session is purchased for scheduling. The session must be scheduled within 30 days from purchase date. After 30 days, the session credit is no longer valid. Bryan has a very flexible schedule, making scheduling very pain free.
