I summarized look at some the accomplishments, firsts, significant moments in the creative journey that Bryan has taken. Some of these may be more of personal nature but are included to allow transparency because you can never be sure what affects those events can have.
Bryan begins to offer art tutoring. Confident that he can offer guidance in the world of illustration and comic books Bryan finds way to tutor student online and in person.
Bryan was able to arrange to have his work sold in a Marietta Georgia artist gallery called 'Ahoy, There Be Dragons'.
Inside this gallery there are original watercolor pieces as well as watercolor prints. There are also prints available of some of Bryn's comic book style work.
Bryan was nominated for Comic Book Cover Artist of the Year for 2023 from the Ringo Awards. Although he had created several high quality covers that year is was the cover that he did for Creepshow #1 volume 1 from Image Comics that landed him the nomination. Bryan's variant cover for that issue was very limited and sold out after a few weeks of being on sale.
Bryan was also a featured guest of that year's Baltimore Comic Con due that nomination.
Bryan assembles his first art book, featuring a collection of full color illustrations. This 80 page book was crowd funded on Kickstarter and it was titled "I Draw Stuff volume 1: The art of Bryan SilverbaX."
Bryan takes to crowd funding on Kickstarter for a comic book that he co-created and wrote. The comic a one shot story that is for mature readers and packed with plenty of jokes and puns: "Tampon Man and Applicator Boy: Do the Dam Thing".
Loggerhead: Bloody Bayou is released to the world. This is Bryan's very first comic book every created. He wrote it, created all the characters and he did the art on the inside as well. This comic book title was released by Scout Comics and marked the beginning of Bryan's comic book universe called Kerra Prime.
Bryan's first professional comic book cover was released. Metalshark Bro #1 was released from Scout Comics and Bryan's art was used for a variant cover that was only available from the publisher's website.
As his artist confidence returned Bryan began to seek more artist outlets and that lead to him doing licensed sketch card work for Upper Deck and Topps trading cards. Bryan would create original, trading card sized, art that would be included in random packs of trading cards. Bryan worked on sets for Marvel Comics, The Walking Dead, Star Wars, Aliens and many others.
In 2013 Bryan began to create graphic t-shirt designs that would be featured in websites that shave limited user created design sales. Bryan's designs would be features on sites such as TeeFury, Ript Apparel, TeeVillain and others.
After 6 years and some change Bryan concludes his service in the US Army.
